The Dubois Center named preferred venue for 2026 ASC Venue Access Grant for nonprofits
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – February 23, 2026 – The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City has been named a preferred venue for the 2026 Arts & Science Council (ASC) Venue Access Grant for nonprofits, providing expanded access to premier event space for Charlotte-area creative organizations.
The ASC Venue Access Grant supports nonprofit organizations by covering rental fees associated with hosting creative and cultural events. By offsetting venue costs, the grant helps ensure that arts and science programming remains accessible and vibrant across the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community.
As a preferred venue partner, The Dubois Center offers grant recipients a modern, centrally located space in Uptown Charlotte designed to accommodate a wide range of creative programming, including small-scale creative programming, lectures, exhibitions, screenings, panel discussions and community gatherings.
